P. J. Henry received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001. Since then, he has had various research and teaching appointments at the American University of Beirut (Lebanon), Yale University, the University of California, Santa Barbara, the University of Bielefeld (Germany), and DePaul University. He is currently part of the faculty at New York University's new campus in Abu Dhabi. His general research interests include stigma, group-based status and power issues, and prejudice and racism.
